Mauricio has had the opportunity to take part in and guide various training programmes based on education through experience. Participant and Assessor of leadership courses at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. Participant in Leadership Training with Social Sense at Youth House.
Participant in young people's school ORIGEN (2010-2011). He has also been a member of the Colombian Young People's Network – RECOJO for more than 7 years, having been D Day Project Coordinator, Director of Social Experiences Production, General Director of RECOJO Bogotá and currently as staff and senior member of BAKONGO.
Certified in wilderness first aid and resuscitation by the Wilderness Medicine Institute of NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School).
